Respite Care Providers

A Respite Care Provider provides primary caregivers with intermittent relief from care-giving responsibilities. Primary caregivers may be a natural family, a host family, parent or spouse. Respite care may take place in your own home or in that of the person receiving support. It may vary in length from a few hours at a time to several days. As with our regular employees, Respite Care Providers go through a thorough screening, and they are carefully matched to both the person receiving support and the primary caregiver.

Respite Care Providers at Living Innovations work on an on-call basis and have the advantage of a flexible schedule. We recruit respite providers for our services to senior citizens as well as to individuals with disabilities.

The specific responsibilities of the Respite Care Provider depend on the needs and Care Plan of the client.
